Dr. Supply, having successfully raised over $170,000 (approximately 250 million KRW) on Kickstarter last month, is now intensifying its global market efforts by launching simultaneous campaigns on Indiegogo InDemand in the United States and Makuake in Japan. Setoworks, overseeing these global projects, announced that within just one week of launch, the Makuake campaign achieved 3,400% of its funding goal, while the Indiegogo InDemand campaign continues to gain steady popularity.
Dr. Supply’s ‘Zenheat Carbon Fiber Heating Pad’ features patented carbon fiber technology, offering exceptional heating performance and portability despite its 1mm thickness. It addresses common issues found in traditional heating pads, such as limited portability, high power consumption, fire hazards, and washing difficulties, by providing an ultra-slim design suitable for use anywhere. During its Kickstarter campaign, ‘Zenheat’ was recognized for its innovation by being selected as a ‘Project We Love’ by the Kickstarter team.
Dr. Supply has also been selected for the overseas expansion support program hosted by the Korea Carbon Nano Industry Association and has been recognized by the Seoul Awards, organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Business Agency.

Zune Koo, Director at Setoworks, noted that although the launch on Makuake was slightly delayed due to stricter screening processes for Kickstarter-related products, their status as an official Makuake partner facilitated a timely launch last week, coinciding with the winter season. Despite the short funding period, the product has received a strong response from Makuake supporters, raising expectations for expanded distribution and sales channels in Japan post-campaign.
He further highlighted that following the Kickstarter campaign, the product has achieved approximately 600 million KRW in sales through various crowdfunding platforms, including Indiegogo, Makuake, ZecZec, and Wadiz. This success positions ‘Zenheat’ as a global hit product and serves as a stepping stone for entering the European market.
Setoworks, an official Makuake partner, boasts over 450 successful Makuake projects and cumulative funding exceeding 15 billion KRW. The company’s Japanese branch plans to participate in the Tokyo Gift Show in February for the third consecutive year, actively supporting post-crowdfunding distribution and sales expansion. As a certified professional trade company and a designated export voucher service provider for four consecutive years, Setoworks will also host export consultations with Japanese buyers during the event.
