SETOWORKS, a global hybrid marketing company led by CEO Cho Choong-yeon, will oversee the Taiwan ZECZEC crowdfunding campaign for Cear, a Japanese sound-technology venture company that previously achieved KRW 2.5 billion in funding through Green Funding Japan.
Ahead of the campaign, SETOWORKS held an experiential pre-launch event over two days, from April 11 to 12, 2026, in Da’an District, the heart of Taipei, Taiwan.
The event took place at B.ring, SETOWORKS’ permanently operated brand experience space, and was designed to allow local customers and influencers to experience the product firsthand.
Through ZECZEC, Cear plans to first gauge responses from Taiwan’s early adopters and then move forward with a full-scale market expansion in Taiwan together with SETOWORKS.
The product unveiled this time, Cear Pavé, is a cube-shaped portable Bluetooth speaker that has already demonstrated both its technical excellence and marketability by recording the highest sales in the Bluetooth speaker category in the Japanese crowdfunding market, exceeding KRW 2.5 billion.

In particular, despite its compact size of approximately 9.5 cm, the product offers a unique listening experience in which the sound is not heard as if it is coming directly from the speaker itself, but instead expands into a space ranging roughly from 50 cm to 1 meter to the left and right. This is made possible by Cear’s proprietary patented technology, “Cear Field.”
This technology analyzes incoming audio signals in real time and instantly separates the sounds to be spatially expanded from those that should remain unchanged. It then keeps the sounds that should stay centered intact, while repositioning the remaining sounds within the space. At the same time, it applies signal processing to compensate for any sound degradation that may occur during repositioning, thereby creating an immersive spatial audio experience.
Koo Joon-hoi, Director of SETOWORKS’ Global Project Group, said, “For products where hands-on experience is essential, real-world spatial experience becomes especially important.” He added, “B.ring, which SETOWORKS operates in Taipei, Taiwan, is a strategic base that can communicate the essence of a product most effectively. It is also an integrated online-offline platform where vivid customer responses can be immediately identified and reflected in the crowdfunding page and marketing strategy.”
Director Koo also stated, “As the only exclusive official partner of ZECZEC in Korea, we have successfully carried out numerous Taiwan market entry projects. Going forward, we plan to fully expand our ‘Post-Funding’ strategy, extending crowdfunding outcomes into retail and B2B distribution, and further scale this into a GTM (Go-To-Market) solutions business in the Taiwan market.”
