Global hybrid marketing company Setoworks (CEO Cho Choong-yeon), jointly with Japan’s Funai Consulting and sponsored by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), will host “JAPAN INSIDERS DAY 2026” on May 27 at the SBA Global Marketing Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
Held under the theme “Understanding the Real Rules of the Japanese Market,” the seminar aims to share practical strategies for Korean consumer brands seeking entry into Japan.
The event will feature participation from Funai Consulting, one of Japan’s largest consulting groups, and TSUTAYA, a leading lifestyle retail company in Japan, both of which will share insights into local market trends and retail strategies.
Drawing from more than 600 Japan market entry (GTM) projects, Setoworks will present hybrid online-offline expansion roadmaps and practical strategies for establishing distribution channels in Japan.
The program consists of four keynote sessions and a one-on-one buyer consultation event. In particular, TSUTAYA will directly participate in a special consultation session, providing customized market entry solutions tailored to each participating company.
The seminar is open to Seoul-based consumer goods SMEs currently preparing for or already pursuing expansion into the Japanese market. Participation is free of charge.
Cho Choong-yeon, CEO of Setoworks, stated:
“This event combines practical know-how and direct consultation together with Japanese market specialists, making it an opportunity for participating companies to gain immediately actionable solutions.”
As a trading company officially designated by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Setoworks supports Korean companies’ global expansion through various solutions including crowdfunding, e-commerce, and overseas exhibitions.
Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis through the official Setoworks website.
