[SEOUL, South Korea - November 8, 2018 - SetoWorks (CEO Chungyeon Cho), a global hybrid marketing company, announced that it will jointly hold a "Marketing Strategy Presentation for Successful Entry into the Taiwanese Market" with Taiwan's largest funding platform, Jecjec (CEO Seo Jin), on November 8 at seto.square in Samsung-dong, Seoul.
With 2.5 million members, Zecjec is Taiwan's largest crowdfunding platform, which is used by major domestic companies as well as small and medium-sized ventures to announce new products to enter the Taiwan market. Founded in 2012, it has hosted more than 7,500 projects to date, of which 5,500 projects have successfully reached their goal. Recently, it surpassed NT$10 billion (USD42 billion) in cumulative funding in its 11 years of existence.
In this briefing, the general manager of the Jekyll project will share his know-how on crowdfunding in Taiwan and introduce hybrid marketing solutions that are perfectly suited for products, including local brand content creation, influencer marketing, online and offline commerce, and local pop-up store operations.
Participating companies will receive one-on-one consultations with Setoworks global consultants on how to enter Taiwan, as well as free access to the Setoworks online mall when raising funds in Taiwan, and a free display at a pop-up store co-operated by Setoworks and the SBA. Pre-registration is required and only the first 50 companies will be able to attend.
"Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that need to expand overseas, especially in Taiwan, or have difficulty entering the market will be able to learn about various ways to enter Taiwan through this briefing," said Junhoe Koo, Head of Strategic Marketing at Setoworks. "We hope that many SMEs will attend as the Taiwanese market is highly favorable to Korean products."
Setoworks, which served as an overseas expansion business assistant for the briefing, was selected as the first professional trade company among crowdfunding organizations in July for its history of actively promoting overseas exports of domestic companies through one-stop global funding.
It is also an official implementing agency for KOTRA Export Voucher, Ministry of SMEs and Startups Innovation Voucher, and Small and Medium Business Administration, and is known to have the highest number of projects and cumulative funding amount in Korea, including Kickstarter. It is the only agency that has handled more than 650 projects of companies through global funding platforms around the world, including Kickstarter and Indiegogo in the United States, Makuake in Japan, Zeczek in Taiwan, Modian in China, and Wadiz in South Korea, 100% in-house.
