Hosted by MaeKyung Media Group and supported by institutions including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Global Leader Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to enhancing national competitiveness through innovative leadership.
Cho was recognized for leading SETOWORKS beyond the role of a global crowdfunding agency and transforming it into a global GTM specialist and professional trading company that provides integrated support for Korean startups and SMEs, from overseas market entry strategy and execution to sales channel expansion.
SETOWORKS has built a one-stop global market entry model based on major global platforms such as Kickstarter in the United States, Makuake in Japan, and Zeczec in Taiwan. The model covers product validation, localized content production, digital marketing, logistics and customer service, and follow-up distribution partnerships. Recently, the company also surpassed USD 39.2 million (KRW 60 billion) in cumulative global crowdfunding volume, the first such milestone in Korea’s industry, helping drive export performance for Korean companies.
