Successfully introduced a filter-free 2-in-1 air washer and humidifier powered by water-based air-cleaning technology to the global market through Kickstarter.

Background


CUE Air Washer by Watervation is a water-based air washer designed to move beyond the conventional filter-based air purifier structure. Instead of relying on disposable filters, it captures airborne impurities through circulating water while also providing humidification, offering a 2-in-1 solution for air purification and humidity care.

With its filter-free structure, reduced maintenance burden, and intuitive water-based cleaning concept, the product was introduced to global consumers through U.S. Kickstarter.




What We've Done


Planned the Kickstarter campaign content around the product’s core differentiators: “filter-free water-based air cleaning” and “2-in-1 air purifier & humidifier.”

Developed and produced the campaign video to clearly communicate the product structure, usage scenario, and consumer benefits to global backers.

Built the pre-launch landing page and executed pre-launch marketing to secure early email leads and potential backers before launch.

Managed the live campaign while responding to various issues related to production, shipping, pricing, and backer communication to support stable campaign operation and maximize conversions.




Result


The campaign successfully raised USD 487,330 from 1,379 backers, achieving 16,244% of its initial USD 3,000 funding goal.

Following the campaign, continued purchase inquiries and participation requests led to late pledge operations, helping extend global demand beyond the official campaign period.
