Background
HANAGO, a Korean stringed instrument, was born out of a desire to overcome the difficulty of learning string instruments and create an instrument that anyone can enjoy as easily as playing the piano. To test the possibility of being recognized in overseas markets, the instrument was launched globally through Kickstarter crowdfunding.
What We Did
Established a local corporation and opened an account for Kickstarter and Indiegogo, and took the lead in planning and content creation after analyzing the product and selecting USPs for global and local targets. During the pre-marketing period, we continuously communicated with musical instrument enthusiasts by uploading performance videos through our YouTube channel to connect with various fans, and we contacted influencers specializing in musical instruments to produce a number of review videos, which we utilized for the main funding, leading to good synergy.
Oversaw the execution of various digital marketing campaigns to drive the success of the funding.
Result
Achieved a total funding amount of $158,637, which is 5,288% of the funding goal, through strategic marketing, including the creation of original content.
