Background
Collaborating with the famous Korean illustrator Bana's latest 2023 work - [Bana Taro], supported by Setoworks on the U.S. Kickstarter, cultural goods industry products breakthrough the national cultural differences and enter the Taiwanese market through the Zeczec platform.
What We Did
When entering the Taiwanese market with cultural goods products, it was necessary to preserve existing Korean culture while adapting to Taiwanese culture. This involved redesigning Taiwanese styles, font designs, and color tones for a new page layout and design. Community operations on Facebook fan pages and Instagram accounts were carried out to attract the interest of Taiwanese people. Collaborating with local Tarot experts, Setoworks designed "Joseon Tarot" cards, introduced Korean stories on each card, and explained the usage of Tarot cards. We also collaborated with local translators for extensive translation of instructional materials.
The project operation involved collaboration with various Taiwanese Tarot brand-related influencers, live commerce collaboration for marketing promotion, cooperative operation with Taiwanese Tarot brand sellers for joint purchasing, and physical card exhibitions in Zeczec space. This allowed potential buyers to see the actual product and fund the project.
Various price settings and product categories were utilized to achieve stretch goals and utilize the power of new information. Additionally, we conducted multiple exposures for the platform homepage, attracting the existing customer base of the platform.
Result
Through various marketing activities and strategic marketing with self-content creation, the project achieved 2005% of the target amount, totaling NT$ 2,005,290. The project has successfully entered the Taiwanese version of 10X10 (PINKOI platform), and negotiations for cooperation in the B2B market are currently underway.
