Developed by Aeon International, Real EMS is a product that creates muscle training effects with microcurrents and has won two Seoul Business Agency (SBA) Seoul Awards for its excellent design and performance. Initially, the company wanted to proceed with Kickstarter or Indiegogo, but after the first meeting with Setoworks, where they explained the characteristics, marketing, and shipping of the six overseas crowdfunding platforms, they decided to proceed with Makuake first.
What We've Done
We created content such as photos and videos using a male model in his 50s similar to Makuake's main target, analyzed EMS awareness and identified needs, and proposed Makuake, a platform with high interest in healthcare products. Based on key points that could attract the interest of the target audience, we produced a product detail page, promoted the product through press releases, social media advertisements, and activity reports, as well as managed customer responses and shipping.
Result
Achieved ¥12,599,400 which is 150,000% of the target goal.
